Regional Contribution (Rengesou Club)

"A corporate patronage of the arts and culture" is called as "Mécénat" in Japan and such corporate activity has been once popular in the bubble economy age in Japan. We, small & mid-sized enterprises in Gifu, thought that we could make some contribution to a society by gathering our small powers, which leaded to an establishment of "Rengesou Club" in 1990. During 26 years after the establishment, we have kept on contributing to the society, even in the difficult economy age, backed by such a passion.

Rengesou "Chinese milk vetch" blooming over the field is a tiny small follower in a single piece, however, it has a power to cultivate the soil in long years. The name of "Rengesou Club" was taken from such nature of the flower. A word origin of "Culture" is supposed to be came from such power of "Cultivate". We hope we can be a small part to "cultivate" Gifu and change it to the city with cultural flavor in the future by continuing our small contribution to the society.

We wish to keep such activity to make a concert, a play, etc. once or twice a year, in not fixed style to the genre, in the future, too.
